Ghost StoriesI like to think that this house is haunted.   
There are the obvious little clues. Things disappear, move, and reappear throughout the house. Floorboards creak from one end of a hallway to the other, back and forth, sometimes for so long that I peer out of my bedroom doorway, convinced one of my family has taken to sleep-walking. There is the unsettling feeling of being watched, or that you are in the presence of somebody in an empty room. And one more than one occasion I have lay awake, frozen in my bed, because I've been certain that I've heard a shout from another room.   
I won't sleep here on my own.
